My Auntie Erin and my Cousin Conner came into town for a week. It was great to meet them!
My Auntie Meghan came over too and we all played together.

Conner is 5 weeks older than me and so we had a lot of fun together. We like to climb trees...maybe that's another reason my parents keep calling me a monkey.

Happy Halloween!!!

I went to Liam's school with Mom to help with his party and then we went trick-or-treating in the evening with Erika, Liam and Maddie from across the street. It was fun.

Ok, so no pictures today, but I do have to say that I've been REALLY busy this week. Lots of stuff going on around the house, with Monkey, with Bobalu, with Pipps, with EVERYONE!!!
So...I probably have another 2 mn until things go crazy again, but I just wanted to let you know that I posted new pictures from last month on our family photo site. There were a LOT of pics.
We're going to a party tonight and I still haven't showered or made our appetizer, so I should go!

Today I'm 6 months old!!!

I went to the doctor yesterday and got MORE shots. I really don't like those things at all.
I'm up to 27.25" and 19 lbs 13.5 ozs. Pretty soon I'll reach that 20 lb mark.

I sit by myself now and scoot a little. I like playing with my basket of toys and still love to play in my exersaucer. I'm a pretty busy boy!

I'm starting to recognize more people and love spending time with all my family and friends.

5 months old! That's right!
I'm eating solids every day now. A little rice cereal, some veggies, some fruit. It's all good.

I can also sit up all by myself now! I rock back and forth when I hear music and I'm so happy and love to laugh a lot.

Still not sleeping all night, but I'm down to only waking up once or twice. My Mom and Dad are looking forward to having their own room again. The house is coming along, so it shouldn't be TOO long.

Gotta keep Mom on her toes!

Today I'm 4 months old.

Had to go to that pesky doctor again. He told my Mom that I can start eating solids now, so I guess we're going to try something called Rice Cereal???
I don't really like it, so I just spit it out. Mom says thats ok, it'll just take some time. I can just keep chewing on my toes until then.

I'm now 26.25 inches long and weigh 17 lbs 12.25 ozs. That puts me in the 95th percentile! Holy cow am I growing! I can hold up my head all by myself and sit pretty good with some help.

I teased my Mom by sleeping through the night one night. Don't worry, that won't happen again. I like to keep her busy so she doesn't forget that I'm around, so I remind her by crying, screaming, talking, not sleeping.
She loves it.

My favorite thing to do is take a bath. I like the big bathtub, but I also love the kitchen sink. I fit in there perfectly.

I also LOVE playing in my new exersaucer that Mom and Dad got for me. It's SO much fun.

Erika got back from Sweden this month too, so I've been having a lot of fun with my family all back together. We sure do like to have fun!

I'm 3 months old today! I'm growing like crazy. We spent a lot of time up at the cabin this month. I like it up there. I got to know my Great Aunt Sue pretty well too. She babysat me while my Mom got her hair cut. We had a great time.



My parents had their birthdays this month too, so Grandpa Jeff and Mary came down one night and we all went out for dinner at the Lakefront Grill. It was pretty fun. I slept most of the time, but we got to go back to the house for lemon cake and playtime with Grandpa.

I really missed Liam when he was gone at bible school. He's my best friend in the whole wide world. We like to hang out.

June 27th, 2007

Today I am 2 months old. I had to go and see the doctor again & this time they gave me shots. I didn't like those at all :(
I'm now 13 lbs, 6 ozs and 23.75" long. That puts me in the 95%!!!

Earlier this month, my parents and Nana and Grandpa Jim threw me a party to welcome me to the world. A lot of people came. It was fun, although I slept through the entire thing. That's ok though, everyone still loved me :)

One of my favorite things to do is take a bath. I LOVE the water. My Mom has a bath sling too, so I can sit in that when she takes a shower and get water on my face and babble.

Erika and Liam were done with school this month, so we've been spending more time together. We like to go to the park, the library, to playgroups. Stuff like that.

I'm still up all night long, but my Mom is getting used to it and Dad sleeps through it now, so we're all doing great!

I LOVE my family. They're all really nice and fun to hang out with.

Today I had to go to the doctor to make sure that everything is going ok.
My weight went down slightly, to 7 lbs 5.5 oz, but that's nothing to worry about. I'm doing great!

My parents and I like to stare at eachother. It's a fun game :)

My first few weeks

So I came home from the hospital a few weeks ago and I'm basically just trying to keep busy. Luckilly, I've had quite a few visitors.
I haven't quite figured out the whole AM/PM thing yet, but we're working on it. I eat every 3 hours, poop about 10 times a day and sleep a lot. Once in awhile I'll shoot Mom and Dad a smile so they stay interested.

Erika kept wanting to change my diaper, so my Mom finally let her. I wasn't real comfortable with that, so I pooped on her leg. That'll teach her to try and help Mom.

I don't know why, but everyone keeps calling me a monkey...

Today I was born. It was a little scary, but I made it through. Here's what I looked like before I was born:

I weighed 7 lbs 8 oz and was 21.25" long. I guess that's pretty normal, but everyone keeps saying how special and beautiful I am, so I must be pretty cool.

I had a lot of visitors in the hospital. My Grandma JoAnn came to see me and then my Nana and my sister Erika and my brother Liam came too.

Then later in the evening, my Grandma JoAnn and Grandpa Chuck came to see me.

My Mom and Dad are really tired, so I think we're just going to hang out. I get to go home soon, so I'm pretty excited about that.

My first post

Hello! My name is Cole and I'm a little over 6 months old. I've decided to start this site so that I can keep track of all the new things that I'm doing.

My Mom is pretty bad about keeping a baby book for me and I wanted to have all my stuff in one place, so here it is!

I'm really into music and I like to poop. My favorite foods are breast milk and applesauce. I like long strolls around the block with my Mom and love pulling out peoples hair.

I thought I'd start this blog so that you can keep updated on what's going on in my life. I'll post a few pictures, let you know when I start doing stuff like crawling, getting teeth, walking, etc.

I'll have to fill in the gaps for you between birth and now, but hopefully we'll get caught up soon.Thanks for coming to visit! Please check back, I'm a baby, so I do new stuff all the time.
